Reach - Global

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” —Mark 16:15.

Missions

As a community of believers, we reach out to the world in innovative ways to see lives radically transformed by encountering Jesus Christ. The freedom from knowing the risen Christ requires us to share the gospel with the world. Like all ministries at NCC, our goal for global missions is 100% participation.

How to Get Involved

There’s a place for everyone to be a part of NCC missions. We’re working hard to create as many “handles” as possible, with the hope that everyone can find a place to be a part of our global missions. Whether you’re serving in the field, providing financial support, or covering our missionaries with prayer— you’re participating. It’s easy: talk with God, commit your heart, and take action!

NCC has partnered with the Elohim Foundation based out of Quito, Ecuador for over 10 years.  Elohim is a ministry that works with impoverished children throughout the South American country of Ecuador.  They have over a dozen communities they are currently serving where they provide after-school help, serve meals, share the gospel, disciple new believers, as well as have a sustainable farm that helps provide extra food and wages for their ministry.  Over 70% of the children in this area suffer from malnutrition, ongoing illnesses, and abuse. Over half eat only 1 meal a day and very few even have a mat to lay their heads on at night.  The poverty is extreme.

During the NCC 2024 mission trip to Ecuador, we will be focused on providing a Children’s program to share the gospel in various communities as well as light construction and clean-up - our desire is always to come alongside and serve the missionaries already there, being flexible and available to their leadership and the Holy Spirits leading.

Trip dates are Saturday, July 20th through Sunday, July 28th (***subject to change based on airline prices and other possible scheduling issues).  The cost is approximately $2500 per person, covering everything except needed vaccinations, medications, or incidental expenses (I.e., snacks, souvenirs). Ecuador

Ecuador, located in northwestern South America, is a beautiful country rich in resources, diverse in landscape and alive with culture and tradition Ecuador is a modern country of 17 million people, however some regions struggle to provide sanitation, medical care, water and basic nutrition to its people. New Covenant Church partners with Elohim Ecuador (based in the capital of Quito) and the 12 foundations that they currently run throughout Ecuador. Elohim Ecuador, through these strategic foundation locations, provides nourishment not only for the physical bodies of children, youth and families, but also shares the gospel to nourish the most important thing - their spiritual bodies. Each of these foundations provide meals, homework help, medical aide, Bible studies and leadership development/discipleship.

How NCC is partnering with Elohim Ecuador:
NCC financially supports 3 missionaries serving in Ecuador. We
also provide short term mission trips and other opportunities to help support the fruitful ministry of Elohim Ecuador.

For more information on how you can be involved through going, giving or praying please contact Anna Adkins at annaa@nccabq.org.
