As a part of our outreach to persons affected by a disability and their families, we are planning a respite night at NCC. A respite night is where we take over the care of the person affected by a disability, freeing their family or care team members to pursue other things for an evening. Our partner in this outreach is Joni and Friends New Mexico. In order for us to hold up our end of that partnership, we need to assemble and prepare a team of NCC people who want to answer God's call to care for those affected by a disability.
